About the opportunity:
Reporting into the credit manager, the focus of this role is to perform debt collection activity for all monies due and past due as detailed within the North - East region, and in line with specified collection procedures and timelines. In addition, you will:
- Call customers to follow up on outstanding debt, and negotiate suitable payment arrangements.
- Build long lasting relationships with key internal stakeholders and customers to ensure timely payments.
- Monitor accounts and payments into accounts.
- Place relevance holds and blocks on accounts where necessary.
- Record relevant customers notes and keep client files up to date.
- Adhere to Nutrien’ s compliance and confidentiality processes.
- Complete related reporting and analysis where required.
A little about you:
To be successful in the role, you will have experience in a similar debt recovery or collection’s role, ideally with Agribusiness exposure. In additional you will demonstrate:
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build long-term relationships, and influence others.
- Strong data analytic skills and commercial acumen.
- Computer literacy with exposure to the Microsoft suite.
- Willingness to learn and get the job done.
- Adaptability.
- Experience with SAP and Power BI (Desirable)
