Our client is currently on the lookout for an experienced Desktop Support specialist to support their engineering design tools (AutoCAD, AUD and add-on components), drawing management system (Autodesk Vault) and all desktop components supporting the application portfolio. You will be responsible for being the routine contact point, receiving, and handling requests for support, including responding to a broad range of service requests for support by providing information to fulfill requests or enable resolution. Critical to this will be the provision of first line investigation and diagnosis across applications, installations, packaging, permissions and user support across the CAD suite of applications.
Requirements:
- 3+ years working a Desktop Support Specialist or in a similar role.
- Must have experience supporting the AutoCAD suite of products (AutoCAD/AUD/Vault).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot Digital Desktop equipment and applications such as, but not limited to, PCs, laptops, desktop applications and network components hosting the application platforms.
- Experience in ITIL or equivalent Service Management methodologies.
- Any experience with coding technologies such as .NET framework, SQL, LISP, JAVA, C++ is highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills
