This role reports directly to our COO and has a significant working relationship with each member of the Australian Executive Leadership team.YOUR ROLEWorking from our Melbourne Office in the World Trade Centre on Wurundjeri land, or from our Sydney HQ, Sydney Olympic Park, on Wann-gal land, your role purpose will help secure the future of Thales by introducing innovative service solutions to the way we operate our business and how we service our customers.

• Take the existing Services vision and blueprint to the next phase of its evolution
• Improve operational capability and performance
• Drive a transformation program of Service operations across Australia with universal processes, tools and KPIs.
• Coordinate strategy and business development goals with Group, Country and BL counterpart.
• Nurture the Thales Australia Services community that actively shares best-practice, talent and resources for the benefit of Thales Australia and the Group.
• Be the voice of the Australian Customer within the Group, particularly in upstream product design and through-life product development.

YOUR EXPERIENCEOn day one in this role, we'll expect you to bring the following skills, experience and behaviours:

• Robust Leadership skills and experience with an extensive track record gained in a complex delivery organisation.
• In-depth knowledge and experience gained from working in a technology-based service delivery environment, preferably within a real time, safety related industry.
• Strong team spirit and ability to set up and energise an integrated network, having a common direction and the full support of the internal teams.
• Evidence of successfully co-ordinating the management of significant change.
• Excellent negotiation skills, with evidence of successful multi-partner negotiations.
