Due to unprecedented demand we now have an opportunity for seeking an experienced and customer service focused Events Coordinator to join our team.

Your Role
Hamilton Island events cater to a whole range of options from Business events for hundreds, with multiple break out areas, Sporting events from outrigging championships and the spectacular Hamilton Island Race week, to marathons and charity runs, and Golf Pro Ams,
Your role as Events coordinator includes:
- Coordinating individually tailored corporate and social events - from 20-400+ pax
- Planning all conference and event arrangements for assigned groups from point of contract to event execution
- Managing up to 16 upcoming groups/events at any one time
- Preparing client itineraries, including securing any related reservations
- Conducting site visits with clients
- Sourcing products, services and suppliers as required
- Meeting client budgets, objectives and expectations
- Maintaining efficient channels of communications between clients, vendors and internal departments
About You
You are a dynamic, focused events professional. Your superpower is juggling multiple tasks at the same time without dropping the balls. You thrive on creating and managing unique bespoke events and love exceeding your client's expectation. You're a born communicator and can naturally build rapport with clients, your team and island managers. You're a cool cat, take everything in your stride and know how to MacGyver a solution to every problem. You take pride in your personal presentation and love hosting business soirees.
You will also:
- Have minimum experience of 2 years working in a similar position, and a strong understanding of Events
- Be exceptionally organised with strong administration skills and the ability to work to deadlines
- Whilst a team player, you are also self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
- You have used Salesforce or a similar Event Management System in a current or previous role
- Have hospitality experience which has given you a sound knowledge of Food and Beverage operations
- Have an Open Driver Licence and a Queensland valid RSA
