This is the right role for that person that thrives in a fast-moving and quickly evolving environment. One where you use your proactive nature (and years of experience) to foresee what needs to be done and ensure that it is delivered on time.
You will be rewarded with opportunity to get involved at the beginning of something very special, a project in its infancy where you will see the office grow expediently over the coming period. With that, your role will look different in 6 months, 12 months, 24 months and beyond. We want someone who is keen to grow and develop as the role and business needs change.
SPEAKING OF THE OFFICE…
They are in the process of moving to a fantastic new office space for the business in West Perth, which will be somewhere that will accommodate for the next phase of growth as well as the amenities to suit.
Your key focus for this function will be to ensure employees are set up and ready to go for their first day in the new office (think swipe cards, desk set ups, stationery etc.)
OTHER KEY TASKS?
Given that you have spent over 4 years in this sort of role we aren’t going to post the usual job description list of tasks.
You know what is involved from the diary and email management, travel planning, Board paper preparation and minute taking, IT coordination and assistance in onboarding new team members… the Office suite is second nature with an excellent understanding of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. We are happy to go over this in more detail at interview.
WHO WILL IT SUIT?
If you can read between the lines from the above, then I think you would summarise the right person for this role being someone that is;
- A self-starter
- Measured and steady by nature with exceptional time management skills
- Experience in a similar role (played a key role in the set up of a new mining venture)
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Mining project experience (preferable but not essential)
- A multi-tasking superstar who could put a cardigan on an octopus
- Experienced in coming into a very small team and assisting in the growing pains as they come
SOUNDS LIKE YOU?
If you have read through the above and have been ticking off the experience and tasks then we would love to hear from you! Please click apply and forward your resume (in Word format if possible) along with a cover letter telling us what is most appealing about this role.
Please note that a Cover Letter is required and applications that do not provide one will not be considered. This is our little test to make sure you have that exceptional attention to detail we mentioned above!
