Our client is an ASX listed critical minerals mining company based in Brisbane CBD. It’s a small company at the moment however the outlook and growth potential are very exciting. A very experienced board of directors and executive team is in place, and we now need an Executive Assistant who has a flair for marketing and PR to join the team.
About the position:
- Permanent fulltime position
- Salary Range $120k - $130k plus superannuation – However can be flexible for the right person – If you hold more senior experience this can be negotiated.
- WFH arrangements can be in place, however you need to be in the office often.
- Brisbane CBD office
The Executive assistant’s role in supporting the Managing Director would involve a combination of administrative support, strategic communication, and marketing efforts aimed at advancing the company’s goals and enhancing its reputation.
- Provide administrative support to directors: – managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence.
- Assist with Board presentations, preparation, and documentation.
- Marketing: manage board social media channels and company website in line with corporate branding.
- Public Relations: Developing and implementing public relations strategies to enhance the board's public image and reputation. This could involve drafting press releases, managing media inquiries, and coordinating public appearances or speaking engagements for board members.
- Event Planning: Planning and organising events such as board meetings, conferences, and networking functions. This could involve logistical coordination, attendee management, and overseeing event promotion.
- Communication Coordination: Serving as a liaison between the board of directors and other stakeholders, including senior management, staff, and external partners. This might involve coordinating communication strategies and ensuring consistent messaging.
- Strong administrative skills: including experience in managing schedules, coordinating meetings, handling correspondence, and providing high-level support to senior executives or boards.
- Public Relations and Marketing Background: Previous experience in public relations and marketing roles, demonstrating a solid understanding of PR strategies, media relations, marketing campaigns, and digital marketing platforms.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to craft clear and compelling messages for various stakeholders, including board members, media representatives, and the public.
