Executive Assistant - Process Unite

• Type of Appointment: Full time or part time (by negotiation).
• Duration: Fixed Term 12-month Contract until January 2025 (opportunity for extension).

• Location: Townsville-Cairns region (Flexible work arrangements by negotiation).
• Renumeration: $75,000-$90,000 + superannuation (Depending on skills and experience).

Role: The Executive Assistant provides an executive level of support to the Process Unite Coordinator the position is part of a multi-disciplinary team supporting the development and implementation of initiatives to strengthen intra-Traditional Owner relationships and shared decision making in the Girringun Region. A key component of the role is to support the Process Unite Coordinator to establish a Unity Working Group (working group membership will be open to each of Girringun Aboriginal Corporations nine affiliated Traditional Owner groups). Once established you will provide coordination and secretariat support to the Unity Working Group.
The person we are looking for

• Ability to apply analytical and strategic and innovative thinking to explore solutions to complex problems or challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with Traditional Owners and their representative organisations in a culturally appropriate and respectful manner.
• Relevant and demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: communications, campaigning, fundraising, grant writing and/or management, facilitation/mediation.
