CCQ delivers the primary health network (PHN) program for Central Queensland, Wide Bay and Sunshine Coast on behalf of the Commonwealth Department of Health. CCQ has an ambitious agenda to design and deliver world recognised primary health outcomes for the people in their region. Achieving this will require CCQ as a commissioning organisation to not only focus on primary health service provision, but also the environmental, social and cultural determinants of health which support communities to live their best lives.
CCQ’s diverse and region covers 161,108 km2 from Sunshine Coast to Rockhampton and across to Emerald. The population in the region is just under 1M people with around 68% living regionally or remotely and more than 28% living in the most disadvantaged quintile. CCQ collaborates with the community to provide exceptional primary healthcare services to reduce health inequalities for the region. CCQ has seven key priorities for health improvement: mental health, alcohol and other drugs, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, population health, health workforce, digital health and aged care.
Your expertise in strategy implementation and operational oversight will be the driving force behind the seamless flow of executive functions. As the trusted right hand to the CEO, you will navigate communications with finesse and discretion, streamline schedules and coordinate executive meetings. Your advanced administration capabilities will be evident as you manage correspondence, ensuring impeccable record-keeping and confidentiality standards.
This role values efficiency and organisational prowess, extending beyond routine tasks to encompass the optimisation of the CEO's time and facilitation of effective decision-making processes. As a key member of the Office of the CEO, you will engage with a diverse array of internal and external stakeholders, cultivating and maintaining strong relationships. You will provide comprehensive secretariat support, logistics coordination for high-profile events and diverse administrative support for the Executive team.
To be considered you will bring advanced administration capabilities, strong communication skills and the ability to think critically and solve problems. You will need proven experience in diary management, communication screening, secretariat support, travel coordination, records management and meeting facilitation, along with advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite. You will naturally demonstrate a high standard of communication, adaptability and commitment to continuous self-improvement along with an understanding of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information. Knowledge and experience in the health sector are highly desirable.
