Seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist with potential to become FT
Main responsibilities
Front desk duties
Greeting and assisting patients.
Telephone duties of receiving and directing calls
Administrative tasks of patient care
Patient information processing using medical software (Zedmed)
Collecting and processing payments
Billing and Batching – processing Medicare Online and DVA claims
Sending reports using Zedmed and Healthlink.
Organise Holter for patients
Skill required:
Experience in medical practice administrator/receptionist role
Excellent interaction skills with patients, staff and other professionals
Experience with Zedmed software is compulsory
Ability to work in a small team and independently
Work well under pressure in a busy practice
Strong organisational, time management and multitasking skills
Have attention to details
