External Sales Representative

With a reputation as an industry leader within the Steel and Aluminium industries, this company is looking for a driven and motivated External Sales Representative who can maintain and build on an existing customer base, and actively seek new business opportunities.

The package includes a fully maintained vehicle, an opportunity to earn up to $20k per annum in bonus, and salary of $80-85k + super. 

You will be responsible for the Northern Sydney territory which includes Northern Beaches, North Shore up to Hornsby, and the Northwest/ Hills area. The head office is based in Smithfield. 

You will be utilising your highly developed sales and relationship building skills/experience to identify and convert new prospects and deliver outstanding sales results combined with exceptional service. 

Additionally, your responsibilities will include, however, not be limited to:

• Actively seek new business opportunities and develop new customer relationships
• Cold calling daily to find potential new customers
• Meeting with existing customers and expanding and strengthening relationships
• Providing outstanding service and exceed customer expectations 
• Consulting with customers to understand their requirements and proposing viable solutions 
• Meeting and exceeding KPI’s and targets
• Developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies
• Database administration
• Weekly/monthly reporting

• Industry experience in the manufacturing / Aluminium/ Steel industry would be an advantage.
