Our client is a global leader in industrial automation equipment based in Hawthorn. They have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Assistant to join their team on a part-time, ongoing basis.
Your new role
Reporting to the facilities lead you will be responsible for:
- Checking and coding of facility and purchasing related invoices and sorting these for approval
- Generating Purchase Orders from Shopping Carts
- Assisting in the development and implementation of a facilities management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements, as well as conducting and documenting regular facilities inspections
- Coordination of the fleet/novated vehicles for employees
- Assisting with the coordination of site operations (Australia wide) such as, cleaning, security, car parking, hygiene services, pest control, first aid supplies, contract maintenance and waste management, and ensuring they are operating efficiently and effectively to meet expected requirements/standards.
- Managing inventory of PPE equipment and staff mobile phones.
- General office duties - Ordering stationery and business cards
What you'll need to succeed
- Computer literacy, knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including SharePoint and MS Teams
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Excellent administration skills with good customer service
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Familiar with database entry
- Fleet management -desirable
