About the role
Reporting to the Facilities Coordinator, you be responsible for the facilitation and provision of efficient and effective delivery of end-to-end property services, including Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) services and contractor management across allocated service lines.
As the Facilities Officer you will be responsible for contractor performance for allocated services lines, providing professional and high-level customer focused service, to meet customer needs, business performance and assist in the achievement of operational goals.
There is a requirement to be available for participation in a 24/7 on-call roster.
Key responsibilities:
Operate the property service desk function by providing prompt, efficient, and responsive service to all customers requiring assistance, ensuring enquiries are handled with focus on the safety of our customers and protection of our assets and which supports our property customer management strategy
Provide advice, reporting and support to senior management in relation to the financial administration of property transactions in conjunction with Finance. Ensure direct input to manage all financial processes including end of month, accruals, budgeting & forecasting including AER submissions and other periodic forecasting
Coordinate and provide knowledge, expertise, and responsive service to facility occupants for both planned and unplanned events across allocated service lines
Monitor, and provide regular reporting on the performance of external contractors, escalating issues early
About You
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience in contractor management within a facilities management environment with proven capability of working within an environment using QA, OH&S and environmental systems.
You will possess knowledge of key industry and statutory requirements, building services and general building maintenance methodologies and understanding of project management processes and methodologies.
Skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and network, liaise, influence, and negotiate to meet business outcomes
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple concurrent activities
Possess strong skills in computer operations and business systems relevant to the role
Required Qualifications
Certificate IV Business or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications
Drivers licence
