Festival Events and Relationships Coordinator JIFF

Moving Story Entertainment is looking for an organised Festival Events and Relationships Coordinator to come on board for a seven-month period to support the production of the Jewish International Film Festival 2024.

Moving Story Entertainment oversees management of four of Australia’s most iconic and beloved independent cinemas – Ritz Cinemas Randwick, Classic Cinemas Elsternwick, Cameo Cinemas Belgrave, and Lido Cinemas Hawthorn as well as four Film Festivals: Europa!Europa, Fantastic Film Festival Australia, the Children’s International Film Festival and the Jewish International Film Festival.

The Role

This role is initially a seven-month fixed term contract, offered on a part time basis. We believe this to be a unique opportunity to be part of the production and delivery of the Jewish International Film Festival 2024.

This role will see you taking responsibility for caretaking our wonderful Sponsors, Partners and Advertisers and assisting in the successful running of all Festival Events. Along with your excellent organisation skills, you will bring a strong customer focus to your work.

You key responsibilities will include:

• Administration of our client database, ensuring all obligations are met with regards to sponsorship and advertising agreements
• Coordination of all sponsor deliverables and guest lists, including all promotions and giveaways
• Assisting the Festivals team in ensuring the smooth operation of the Festival Events across all sites including sourcing suppliers, liaising with speakers and special guests, creating runsheets, managing guest lists and associated communication
• Building relationships with key stakeholders (alongside the Executive Director and Festivals Manager)
• Researching potential new sponsors and advertisers to secure new and long lasting partnerships

• A strong customer focus and attention to detail with excellent written communication skills
• High level organisation skills and a willingness to get things done in a fast-paced environment
• Strong administrative skills, including high proficiency in the Office suite
• Events and Sponsorship experience will be highly regarded
