Form of workWe have a unique and exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join NSW Masterplanned Communities finance team in Sydney.
The Opportunity - About the Role
Working as a business partner to our Masterplanned communities development business this position plays a key role in the delivery of our development pipeline. As the Finance Manager, you will drive the relationship management with the business, providing business performance insights to support strategic decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the analysis of drivers of business performance, opportunities, trends and their implications for the business
- Responsible for assisting with the preparation of a timely, relevant and accurate BU budget, assisting with generating key insights
- Responsible for proactive engagement with the business on identification of opportunities and communication and management of risk
- Responsible for assisting with financials or capital requests and growth initiatives
- Responsible for challenging the current BU’s finance processes and assumptions to drive greater control, accuracy and simplification where required.
- Conduct end of project/process reviews to identify strengths and areas of improvement
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders
About You
We would like to hear from Finance managers with strong business partnering abilities. To be successful in this role you must be a team player that can build strong collaborative relationships with a range of non-finance stakeholders you will also have the following:
- Experience in commercial management, financial accounting, forecasting & analysis or planning
- Experience in a role providing financial analysis to support decision making
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder relationship skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced and agile environment
- Appropriate tertiary qualification
- CA/CPA or equivalent accreditation
- Experience in property development would be beneficial
