The Finance team is the backbone of the business and are a tight-knit group who are highly motivated, committed to achieving results, value collaboration and excellence. As our Financial Accountant, role is to assist the Financial Controller with Month-end, ASX market participant reporting obligations, statutory financial accounts, various other regulatory reporting, and external audit. You'll play a pivotal role in driving our success.
Primary responsibilities:
Financial Accounting:
- Responsibility for:
- Monthly financial accounts
- ASX market participant financial surveillance and reporting
- AFS licensee’s financial surveillance and reporting
- Preparation of statutory financial accounts
- Manage external audit
- Manage group consolidated tax returns and other tax reporting obligations
Management Reporting:
- Involvement in the production of group budgets
- Involvement in production of various compliance reports
- Other management reporting as required
Additional:
- Continuous review and development of department processes to improve efficiencies, enhance value of outputs, and reduce operational risk
- Liaise with and manage expectations of internal stakeholders including Advisers, support staff, senior management and external parties as required
- Assist the Finance Controller in ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives

Required experience/ qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Financial Accountant or equivalent
- CA, CPA or equivalent qualification
- Financial services industry experience preferable
