Job Description
The role
We are looking for an experienced Fleet Allocator to join our Operations Team based in Lytton. As an allocator, your role is essential in coordinating container movements to meet customer expectations both safely and in a cost-effective manner. This role will be a Day Shift start.

As the Fleet Allocator, you will:
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers and management to ensure high service levels are met.
- Provide a high level of customer service, updating on delivery issues or delays.
- Coordinate and plan container movements in a timely, safe and cost-effective manner.
- Supervise activities and utilize your knowledge of safety, fatigue & mass management.
- Complete DNV Transport training as required by the business.
Qualifications
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in Fleet Control within Transport Operations.
- Effective communication and liaise with management – written and verbal.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills – Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- The capability to work within a team environment and autonomously.
- A high level of planning and organisational skills.
- A comprehensive knowledge of industry regulations and fatigue management legislation would be an advantage.
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in 1 stop and container chain Highly regarded
- Experience in Freight Tracker software Highly regarded
