Job Description: We are currently seeking a passionate and customer-focused Front of House Representative to join our team at Cremorne Club. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the gym or hospitality industry, a positive attitude, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet members and guests upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist with membership inquiries, provide information about our services, and facilitate the enrolment process.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-in/check-out procedures, appointment scheduling, and payment processing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area, lobby, and common areas.
- Answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally, addressing inquiries and resolving issues as needed.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and inventory management.
- Handle member concerns and escalate issues to management when necessary, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless experience for all members and guests.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
- Continuously strive to enhance the overall member experience and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service or front-facing role, preferably in a gym or hospitality setting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanour.
- Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Office and experience with booking software is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred for gym positions).
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.
