The role:

Based in Moama, NSW, (just across the Murray River from Echuca, VIC), we require an enthusiastic Graduate Accountant to join our busy finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the day to day operations of the Finance Department including weekly and monthly reporting.

The successful candidate must possess the following skills and experience:

• Tertiary degree in accounting, commerce or relevant area,
• Strong aptitude for preparing financial reports and maintaining budgets,
• A can do attitude,
• Be a driver of change.

Your duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Financial Recording and Reporting,
• Cash Flow Management,
• End of Month Accounting,
• WIP calculations,
• Other ad hoc accounting responsibilities as directed.

The following will be highly regarded:

• Membership of a professional accounting body,
• Minimum 2 years experience in an accounting role,
• Ability to work within a committed team environment,
• Previous experience within manufacturing industry accounting,
• Strong excel skills.
