cs empowered boxing is currently seeking a motivated and dedicated individual for the position of Gym Management Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the gym to ensure an excellent experience for our members. This is a part-time position, requiring approximately
25 hours per week, and offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fitness-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Member Services: Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming and assisting gym members, answering inquiries, and providing guidance on facilities, programs, and services offered.
- Operations Support: Assist in maintaining a clean and organized gym environment, including regular cleaning and equipment maintenance duties.
- Class and Schedule Management: Help manage the gym's class schedules, coordinate bookings, and ensure smooth operations during group workouts and personal training sessions.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to promote gym memberships, arrange tours, and handle inquiries related to pricing, membership benefits, and special promotions.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist in managing member databases, processing payments, creating reports, and maintaining accurate records related to memberships, classes, and sales.
- Safety and Security: Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including monitoring equipment usage, handling emergencies appropriately, and implementing security measures as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other gym staff members to promote a positive and motivating atmosphere, participate in team meetings, and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Previous Experience: Prior experience in a customer service or fitness-related role is preferred.
- Fitness Knowledge: Familiarity with gym equipment, workout routines, and fitness programs is highly beneficial.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with members and colleagues.
- Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
- Customer-Oriented: A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming and inclusive gym environment.
- Tech-Savviness: Proficiency in using gym management software, as well as familiarity with basic administrative tasks on computers.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the gym's operation hours.
- High School Diploma: A minimum educational requirement; additional fitness or business-related certifications are considered a plus.
