Support Line Leadership and general workforce across the Central and Northern Queensland regional portfolio of operations in the understanding, implementation and continuous improvement of the Cement Australia (CA) Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Management System (SHEQMS), with the aim of achieving the organization's vision of being a safe, healthy, productive and sustainable business. As part of the Cement Australia Safety and Sustainability Function, provide subject matter expertise resource for the business in health and safety About the role: Planning Maintain a detailed and current understanding of existing and developing safety and sustainability regulatory and other requirements applicable to the operations supported and keep Line Leadership informed of these requirements supported by the Central Team.
Work with Line Leadership to ensure any applicable changes to legislation are managed to maintain compliance In alignment with the CA SHEQMS requirements, provide expert advice, interpretation and support to Line Leadership in hazard identification, risk assessment and control of safety, occupational health and hygiene aspects and impacts of all of the processes and activities associated with the portfolio of operations Provide advice to and support Line Leadership to develop and implement site-specific processes, systems, controls, work instructions, forms and other supporting documentation to align with organization wide processes of the SHEQMS. As part of the CA Safety and Sustainability Function, partner with the Central team and other operational Safety and Sustainability Specialist’s to ensure company wide procedures and forms align to operational needs.
