About the Opportunity:
Tamworth Aboriginal Medical Service- Aboriginal Corporation (TAMS-AC) is recruiting a HR Generalist, who will manage the employee lifecycle, including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, reward management, and other Human Resources functions. This is a exciting new position for the organisation.
The successful applicant will be part of the Executive Team and report directly to the CEO.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Relevant experience working with an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on employee relations and recruitment
- The ability to coordinate recruitment and selection activities.
- Demonstrated experience in providing HR and industrial relations advice to management.
- The ability to interpret organisational policies and procedures, Employment Agreements and relevant legislation, including the Fair Work Act 2009
- High level knowledge and skills in Human Resources processes, practices and systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Conduct training sessions on various HR topics
- Current drivers Licence
