The role:
The purpose of the role is to lead, develop and guide the P&C Operations team to deliver exceptional operational services to the P&C team and the wider business on key initiatives across all phases of the employee lifecycle with a data driven approach.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, develop and support the P&C Operations team and lean in to provide operational assistance as needed
- Triage issues as needed and manage team workload and output
- Continue to drive operational best practice and process transformation
- SME on operational people activities and a key interface across all areas of P&C and particular groups within the business such as IT and Legal
- Leadership of and contribution into key P&C calendar priorities and initiatives
- Lead initiatives and complete the annual WGEA reporting
- Policy development in partnership with the Senior Manager, Employee Relations
- Partner with Payroll for the yearly external audit
- Provide HR Advisory service to HRBP roles
- Key point of contact for system vendors culture amp and Ramco
Preferred experience:
- Experience in an ASX top 20 or internationally recognised business
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management, Business, or another relevant discipline
- Significant experience performing a similar role in a complex environment.
- Strong background within an awards-based environment in payroll, remuneration or systems
- Strong business acumen, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence leaders, and drive HR initiatives
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the business
- Experience in managing through and providing HR expertise in business transformation.
