What will I be doing?
The purpose of this position is to enthusiastically administer the day-to-day operations of the HR function at DCE. Working closely with all members of the business to aim for accurate and timely HR and Recruitment outcomes. Specifically:
Recruitment
- Setting up ads on Seek and LinkedIn
- LinkedIn recruiting
- Shortlisting candidates
- Setting up interviews with the relevant people
- Undertaking reference checks
- Assisting with coordinating university sponsorship contracts and events
- Coordinating the Graduate programs
Onboarding
- With the Hiring Manager, create induction plans for all new starters
- Scheduling all induction meetings/ sessions
- Create welcome packs and sending out to new starters
- Onboarding people through our HRIS Employment Hero
- Creating letter of offer and contracts
Performance Reviews
- Sending out communications regarding performance reviews
- Ensuring all reviews take place in a timely manner with relevant documentation completed
- Managing Employment Hero updates after reviews and ensuring goals and KPI’s are updated
Training
- Book in training and send out calendar invites
- Enrolling team for training/courses
- Updating Employment Hero with certification

What will I need?
- HR or relevant business qualification
- Experience in a similar role and environment is very useful
- Intermediate computer skills including working with databases
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Brave and happy to ask questions
- Able to prioritise your work for maximum impact
