Our opportunity
As a HSE Advisor - Systems, Compliance & Governance, you will support the governance and reporting of material HSE matters to Mirvac's HSE Management Committee, Executive Leadership Team and Board HSE subcommittee.
Please note this is an 18 month Fixed-Term contract role.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation and writing of quarterly and ad hoc HSE Governance reports (including associated data analysis)
- Technical writing of Control Standards and Management System documentation (procedures, policy, standards, etc)
- Facilitation and requirements gathering for management system projects and improvements
- Stakeholder engagement and project management for delivering multiple projects in an corporate enterprise setting
- Reviewing changes in the Health, Safety & Environment Regulatory and Legal landscape and associated change impacts or implications for Mirvac
- Data analysis predominantly via MS Excel and Power BI
- Digital software platform administration processes and vendor engagement
- Willingness to learn and piloting new-age AI tools and models
We are looking for a driven and passionate individual who has the following skills and attributes:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, IT, Maths, Data Science, or a related field and have over 3 years' experience working experience in Health, Safety & Environment, Quality, Security, or Enterprise Risk Management preferably in a large enterprise setting.
- Experience with development and maintaining management systems, corporate governance or equivalent is desirable, along with knowledge of codes of practice and applicable Australian Standards.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python, AWS Bedrock) and ideally have prior experience working with large Language Models/Generative AI.
