The HSEQ Manager role is responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring and improvement of the company’s Health, Safety, Environment and Quality control systems. The position is located in West Perth with the opportunity for site visits when required. Key Responsibilities: Effectively lead and mentor a team of HSEQ Advisors to maintain quality systems and processes effectively on site.
Support the Operational leaders delivering on HSEQ best practice standards and corrective action. Oversee and deliver on risk management process to aid effective decision making and management of change. Regularly review and update company processes and protocols to meet industry standards.
Implement, and report on progress against specific safety plans and key objective outcomes. About you Tertiary qualification in Health and Safety or similar. 5 years experience, at HSEQ Manager level or similar, ideally within the Mining Resources sector.
Experience in ISO Management Systems, HACCP and other industry quality standards. Based in Perth, flexibility to fly in and out to visit sites as needed. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Advanced administrative skillset on Microsoft suite and relevant industry systems. Have a fluid and considered approach when dealing with risk management and corrective action. Demonstrate an open and solution focused mindset to continuous improvement and business sustainability.
