Our role
We are currently seeking a experienced, hands on and proactive HR Coordinator to provide human resource support to senior management, ensuring smooth operation of Human Resources matters. This position is based at our West Perth head office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties;
- Managing the HR Assistant who primarily manages the recruitment process including posting adverts, screening candidates, organising interviews, supplementary tests, reference checks and drafting employment contracts;
- Compiling and updating employee records;
- Processing documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc.);
- Assisting with the induction process, organising any training, IT, employee documentation and general queries;
- Updating and reviewing HR policies and procedures as required;
- Liaising closely with our external HR support agency
About you
- Degree in HR would be well regarded;
- Able to commence immediately;
- 1-2 years in a Human Resources role would be good;
- Basic knowledge of labour legislation;
- PC literacy and experience with MS Office applications;
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills;
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to work autonomously.
