This full time position is responsible for the provision of employment lifecycle, learning and development and generalist Human Resources (HR) processes.
You Will
- Administer end to end recruitment and selection processes including but not limited to populating position descriptions, advertising vacancies, selection shortlisting and participation, coordinating pre-employment processes, employment offers and onboarding processes.
- Administer staff movement processes including but not limited to processing employment variation offers and acceptances or responses, generating leave correspondence including parental leave communication, coordinating offboarding processes.
- Effectively manage the HR and Employment inboxes, calendars and task lists.
- Maintain Human Resources (HR) governance processes including blue card, Queensland Teacher registration, AHPRA, and employee working rights compliance.
- Undertake generalist administrative duties including generating purchase requisitions, maintaining templates, coordinating meetings, maintaining team stationery supplies and effectively liaising with payroll and other internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with data management processes including maintaining accurate and up to date recruitment, training and employee relations process and employee records.
- Assist with professional development, worker compensation, return to work, work well, leave management, senior teacher and various other processes and projects aligned to skillset.
- Function as the first point of contact for HR general enquiries.
- Working knowledge of recruitment and people management practices and systems including provision of HR administrative services in a multi-occupational workforce.
- Human Resources Management tertiary qualifications well regarded.
- Learning and development, worker compensation, and/or industrial relations experience well regarded.
- Current Working with Children Blue Card.
- Demonstrated digital literacy, attention to detail, organisational, data entry and document processing capabilities.
- Champion of strong ethics, interpersonal and discretionary skills coupled with a commitment to quality service delivery.
- First Aid and CPR certification well regarded.
- Physical fitness including the ability to work at a desk, perform repetitive typing tasks and perform manual handling tasks such as bending and lifting.
