We are seeking an experienced, flexible and highly motivated individual to fill a Human Resources/ Return to Work Coordinator
The HR & RTW Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits, and assisting the early return of injured employees.
Responsibilities:
- As the recruitment specialist you will be responsible for finding and hiring top talent for ENcome Energy Performance. Including developing job postings, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and negotiate job offers.
- Facilitate end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and offboarding.
- Maintain employee records, generating contracts and other HR systems.
- Support our performance review process.
- Be the first point of contact for leave and pay-related questions as well as any queries from prospective employees.
- Maintain all our people-related policies and systems, ensuring compliance with state and federal occupational health and safety regulations, workers' compensation schemes and privacy legislation.
- Act as a central point of communication between managers, the injured employee, insurer, and medical practitioner.
- Provide updates to the broader team about all things people and HR.
- Work closely with the WHS & Training coordinator.
- Develop and implement HR initiatives as required.
About You:
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure the effective giving and receiving of information.
- Demonstrate strong software and general IT skills, e.g. proficient in Microsoft Office
- Have great interpersonal abilities that assist in building trusting relationships with the people with whom you work.
- Be reliable, organised and team focused with a tenacious, can-do approach

- Willing to travel to clients and projects in regional Australia and occasionally work out of business hours, when required
Experience/Qualifications:
- Certificate IV or proven industry-based experience and education in Human Resources and Return to Work – required.
- Must be an Australian permanent resident with rights to Work in Australia or Australian citizen
- A valid Driver’s Licence
- Minimum 2-years of HR and/or IR experience within the construction, mining & resources, or engineering industries
- Knowledge of relevant statutes and legislation relevant to the area of work, e.g., WHS legislation, environmental legislation, Fair Work Act, Agreements, and relevant awards.
- Demonstrated strong organisation skills with excellent problem solving and effective communication skills
- Conflict resolution skills can help manage your emotions, engage in active listening, show empathy, and collaborate to solve return-to-work disputes
