Infrastructure & Assets Manager
Based at our Bundaberg HQ and reporting to the General Manager Commercial Enterprises; the Infrastructure and Assets Manager will be responsible for managing IMPACT’s infrastructure and physical asset portfolio to ensure programs and the social enterprises have the right environment to deliver their services to the community. We provide programs and services across Bundaberg, Childers, Gin Gin, Hervey Bay, Agnes Water and Kingaroy sites.
Primary functions for this role include:
- Project manage the acquisition, redevelopment and disposal of IMPACT buildings and leases
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure asset reliability
- Manage the maintenance of IMPACT buildings and facilities
- Supervise the management of IMPACT’s vehicle fleet and domestic rental properties
- Create and manage budgets for asset maintenance and replacement including capital budgets
- Ensure IMPACT buildings and facilities meet Workplace Health & Safety standards
- Evaluate the need for asset replacements or upgrades (excluding ICT)
- Generate reports and recommendations for asset improvements
You will also coordinate maintenance amongst IMPACT sites, including fire services and equipment maintenance, pest control, gas line and storage testing, test and tagging.
To make a difference in this role, you will have:
- Track record in prioritising safety in all aspects of work
- Excellent communication skills
- A practical-minded approach
- Experience in managing to and preparing budgets
- Experience in preparing or working to maintenance schedules
- Working knowledge of commercial building codes and standards (desirable)
- Experience in construction, building design or trades (desirable)
