The Opportunity
Insitu Pacific is currently searching for a Communications / Electronics and Engineer to join the Brisbane team. Undertake engineering development and design, with a focus on RF communications and data link, including antennas; avionics; sensors; electronics; electrical systems and user interfaces on Uncrewed Aerial Systems.
Responsibilities
Perform trade studies, develop system interface definitions, and prepare verification and acceptance plans for product development and enhancement
Design communications and electronics solutions in a project team environment.
Assist with technical project planning, estimating, execution, control and reporting.
Assist with the development of technical elements of internal business cases and external customer proposals.
Design and construction of prototype and production components for validation and testing.
Experience/Qualifications
To be successful in this role:
Engineering Degree in an electrical/electronics, avionics, or related discipline.
Experience in the specification, design, analysis, manufacture, test and in-service support of communications products in aerospace or related industries.
Demonstrated knowledge and expertise with the application of RF communications systems analysis and design principles, electronics design principles, data and tools, in aerospace or related industries.
Demonstrated ability to ensure successful outcomes which meet project deliverables and adhere to critical deadlines.
Australia citizenship to meet Australian Defence security requirements.
