Job description
The Intake Officer will join a team of Dispute Resolution professionals including a Coordinator and a casual pool of mediators. The Dispute Resolution Branch (DRB) is an innovative state-wide program, tasked with delivering accessible, low-cost, fair and timely non-adversarial dispute resolution services to the Queensland community. These services are provided in accordance with the Dispute Resolution Centres Act 1990.
The four service streams include Civil mediation, Adult Restorative Justice Conferencing, Child Protection Conferencing and Training services. The DRB provides these services across Queensland via six dispute resolution centres and comprises approximately 40 staff and a pool of 100 casual mediators.
