Perrys Fuel Distributors were established in 1949 and have been family owned and operated since its establishment, from our head office based in Crystal Brook. We currently own, operate or supply over seventy retail sites from where our customers can purchase fuel with a fleet of delivery vehicles and a number of regional fuel depots. We are one of the largest independently owned fuel distribution companies in South Australia.
The Role
We are looking for a self-motivated, individual to join our team to work with one other IT Coordinator to coordinate our IT services across both regional and metropolitan locations in South Australia.
The role is a full-time permanent role and is based in Crystal Brook at our head office. The position will involve looking after all our IT functions, as well as fuel dispenser, point of sale, card reader and EFTPOS system.
The role will require some out of hours support when the need arises across our retail sites.

To be a member of the Perry’s team, you need to have strong values, excellent communication skills, be energetic and have a commitment to delivering high quality service. To be successful in the role ideally you will have knowledge and experience in:
- IT support and management for our office and multiple satellite offices (depots and retail sites);
- Providing advice on, procuring, implementing and maintaining all IT software and hardware across the business;
- Windows, Microsoft Office (including Outlook), iOS devices;
- Hyper-V Manager – Virtual Server environment.
- Windows Server 2008 and Higher
- StorageCraft - ShadowProtect (Backup Monitoring and Restoration)
- StorageCraft – Image Manager (Consolidation, Verification and Replication of Backup files)
- Website Management and Support (IIS Management, cPanel and WordPress);
- Network Support (DHCP, DNS, WAN Management and Gateway Configuration)
- MY SQL, MS SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services, Firebird SQL, MS Access DB and Microsoft Open Database Connectivity (including configuration and report building);
- Point of Sale System Operation and Support (Quickfuel POS)
- Troubleshooting Fuel Forecourt Controllers and Consoles (Postec, Gilbarco Transac 24, Transponder consoles, and Compac CC/DCA, and 4DET Card Readers)
- Repair or replacing basic computer components as required;
- Internal Data Processing (Import/Export of site transaction data)
- Investigation of processing errors and recover missing data.
