About the CompanyWe are partnering with a global mining company who are a leader in the Australian coal mining sector operating both underground and open cut mines across the country.
About the Role
As a result of continued growth, we are actively recruiting for an experienced IT Systems Support Officer to support remote and onsite IT service delivery across the business based out of Regional (Central) NSW.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide IT support to local and remote staff across multiple mine sites
- Administration of onsite server and network infrastructure as directed by the infrastructure team.
- Support of all local Desktop, Laptop, Printer, Audio Visual and Telephone devices.
- Liaise with external vendors and service providers for hardware and software queries.
- Prioritise client incidents and requests according to business impact and setting the ticket severity appropriately.
- Track and maintain the progress of Service desk requests and liaise with relevant parties
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (IT, Computing, Networking, Telecommunications, Electrical etc)
- 3+ years' experience in Level 1 / Level 2 Systems Support
- Windows, Office 365 and Server Administration
- Cisco, VMWare, Mimecast and/or similar product experience (desireable)
- Knowledge of pit to port mining operations and systems (highly regarded)
- Knowledge of corporate and control network communication (highly regarded)
- Excellent renumeration package including remote allowance

Salary: Competitive salary packaging including remote allowance & bonus (min. $100K base)
