Junior Ict Project Manager

Role Purpose:

Outcomex is actively seeking a motivated and driven Junior Project Manager who is enthusiastic and passionate about all things ICT. As a Junior Project Manager at Outcomex, you will report to our Project Management Office and work closely with a Senior Project Manager, supporting and aiding the successful delivery of client-facing projects. This role is open to individuals with prior experience as well as recent university graduates.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Experience in the ICT industry, even if not in a project management role.
• Experience in medium to large businesses.
• Project Management certification (e.g., Prince2, PMP, PMI) is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Project Management software tools, methodologies, and best practices is advantageous but not mandatory.
• University degree in your chosen Information Technology field.

Role Specific Requirements:

• Introduction to project management methodologies with a willingness to pursue appropriate Project Management certification.
• Developing skills and a commitment to managing projects, with a focus on less complex projects initially.
• Keen interest in understanding Project Management and project delivery in diverse business sectors.
• Developing influencing skills to contribute ideas and foster cooperation among team members. Openness to learning and adapting styles and techniques to accommodate varying tasks, situations, and individuals.
• Working towards establishing relationships with project stakeholders, with a focus on clear communication and timely issue resolution.
• Developing conceptual, analytical, and critical thinking skills to identify issues and make informed decisions for achieving organizational goals.
• Initiative to actively contribute to goal identification and ensure appropriate actions are taken.
• Developing the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Adopts and promotes a safe work environment and behavioural practices.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.

Demonstrated experience or exposure to the following technology areas would be advantageous but not mandatory:

• Networking solutions
• Cybersecurity solutions
• Unified communications
• Data Centre solutions
• Compute
• Real-Time Location Services (RTLS) and Location-Based Systems (LBS)
• New building fit-out for ICT
• General ICT delivery background
