Providing support to employers and employees at all stages throughout the employment relationship is our core business. Whether this is by way of more formal legal processes or simply pointing clients in the right direction – for us, it’s all about helping people out.

We are currently seeking an experienced part-time (15 - 20hrs per week) Legal Secretary to assist us in delivering on our focus of helping people out. 

Tasks & Responsibilities: 

• File management
• Drafting correspondence and documents as delegated
• Inputting, reviewing, and managing bring-ups
• Meeting client response deadlines
• Completing client billings
• Answering telephone, directing calls and taking initial information from prospective clients
• Organising and supporting directors/lawyers 
• Following up debtors

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

Experience: 

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary, litigation experience highly regarded
• Knowledge of employment and/or commercial law highly desirable
• Thorough knowledge of legal terminology
• Thorough knowledge of legal communication principles and practices
• Experience in LawMaster is preferable but not essential
