Form of workThe successful applicant will join our fabulous and fun administrative team in supporting our clinicians, working with the practice manager, assisting in the day to day running of the practice. We are a tight-knit group that puts the health and wellbeing of our patients above all else.
This position is full time, 5 weekdays per week.
About you
The ideal candidate will have:
- previous medical admin/reception experience,
- good customer service
- a warm, compassionate personality.
- the ability to slot seamlessly into our team to provide support wherever required.
- possess strong computer skills and be comfortable navigating several different programs.
- the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Meet and greet patients and ensuring consultation days run efficiently.
- Ensuring our patients' needs are met to the best of our abilities in a kind & professional manner
- Answering the practice phone during business hours, making appointments and dealing with enquiries.
- Using our practice systems of communication and our Practice Management Software (PMS)- Zedmed.
- Processing patient accounts and making follow up appointments
- Liaising with hospital departments to book patient admissions, day oncology, medical imaging and pathology
- Scanning and data entry of medical documents into PMS
- Ad-hoc administrative tasks as required
