This is a casual position, working varied working hours. Yours hours will depend on our specialists schedules, so flexibility is a must.
Reporting directly to the Office Manager, the successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and efficient individual who relishes in a fast paced work environment. You will be responsible for maintaining our commitment to quality health care and customer service and dealing with patients, visitors and other health professionals by phone and in person.
To be successful you will have the following:
- Prior experience in clerical/reception administration
- Prior medical reception experience is preferred by not essential
- Enthusiasm to increase skills base
- High standard of presentation, punctuality and a positive attitude towards work
- Exceptional customer skills
- Good organisation and time-management skills
- A high level of attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm whilst working under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent Phone skills
- Full Vaccination against COVID-19 and the ability to provide evidence of vaccination prior to employment
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Administration of the front reception, including greeting all patients and visitors
- Secretarial support to the Office Manager and other team members
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Invoicing and receipting of payments including Medicare
- General Office duties, including, filing, faxing, photocopying, phone
