About The Role
CQR is seeking a Full timeMedical Receptionist to work across our QTV House practice. We are looking for someone who values teamwork and places high regard for quality patient care looking to continue their career as part of our Rockhampton team.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- First impression of the practice as you meet and greet patients at the front desk.
- Cash handling and patient account processing to include Medicare and Health funds
- Attend staff meetings and participate in company training sessions
- Comply with procedures, policies, regulations and standards which impact upon the position and the Radiology Department, such as workplace health and safety, and other HR policies.
- Liaise with referrers, doctors, patients for delivery of patient medical results
About You
- A caring, can-do attitude that enjoys being part a team
- Experience in a Medical or Radiology (X-ray) practice ideally or knowledge of the medical industry highly desirable
- Excellent presentation, a high level of communication and patient care skills
- A can-do attitude that builds rapport with patients, staff and professional easily
- Competent computer skills and data entry - previous experience with booking program ideally
- Medicare knowledge and medical billing would be advantageous

This Full-time position will be working a 9-day fortnight (An RDO every second week!), Monday to Friday over 38 hours per week, hours of 8am-5pm.
