Medical Receptionist

Pavilions Medical & Skin Centre requires a Medical Receptionist to work on the weekends with the possibility of extra hours during the week and for holiday relief.

The primary purpose of the role is to be the face of the clinic and we want someone who can be pleasant to the patients and have fun whilst doing their job.

Our hours on a weekend are from 8.00am to 11.00am on a Sunday from 6th April 2024.

The applicant we want is someone who possesses:

• At least 12 months experience working in a GP setting
• Excellent communication and strong customer service skills
• Willingness to learn how our practice works and work as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to follow instructions and meet set standards.
• Dependable and reliable in character and possess a strong work ethic.

Core duties:

• Answering phones with a great personality.
• Communicating with all of our patients on arrival & while at the medical clinic. 
• Using clinic software to co-ordinate appointments for the doctors & nurses.
• To assist with claiming the doctor's billings.
• Communicating with doctors & nurses regularly during the day to ensure the smooth running of the practice.
• To be able to priotise daily tasks and adapt to varying situations through the day.

A competitive salary is on offer with penalty rates for the weekend.

Uniforms supplied plus we have underground parking for staff.

You will be supported by a Practice Nurse at the weekend and a Practice Manager who is readily available to be contacted.
