Northern Sydney Colorectal Clinic (NSCC) is a busy specialist practice with 6 dedicated surgeons providing care across Northern Sydney.
With rooms at Dee Why Grand and AMA House in St Leonards, NSCC prides itself on having a high-quality team who prioritise the patient experience.
About the Role
We are looking for someone to join our team in a part-time capacity (with the potential to grow to full-time).
This role will be based at a combination of Dee Why, St Leonards and WFH, and you must be available to work across 5 days per week.
Key responsibilities of the role are:
- Ensure a positive patient experience through professionalism and care
- Front line coverage of both phones and desk
- Booking of appointments and procedures – including liaising with hospital staff
- Provide triage of patient enquiries and supply resolutions where possible
- Ensuring patient details are accurate and maintained
- Processing patient billing
- General administrative support of the practice
- Work closely with both administrative and medical staff to support the practice objectives
About You
You will need:
- A passion for providing a positive patient experience
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Proactiveness and initiative. You will have excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A professional manner and strict adherence to confidentiality
- A high level of attention to detail
- Sound computer skills – and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
- A commitment to being a team player
- Experience working in a medical practice, or a nursing background, would be an advantage (but not essential)
