We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Medical Receptionist/typist to join our growing cardiology team.
This is a Part Time position for three days a week with potential to increase.
We are a cardiology service who provides consultation and diagnostics to patients in the eastern suburbs. We pride our service on delivering high quality patient care, whilst maintaining a positive working environment for our team members. You will join our medical administration team, practice nurses, practice manager and cardiologists. We are also supported by experienced cardiac technologists who provide cardiac diagnostic services.
A minimum of two years of previous experience in medical reception work experience is required when applying for this position.
Roles and responsibilities include:
• Maintain accurate scheduling of appointments and diary keeping.
• Providing secretarial support to practice doctors.
• Answering and making calls.
• Faxing, scanning, emailing and data entry.
• Invoice and receipt patient accounts, including through Medicare and Eclipse.
• Promote a positive work environment.
• Maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
