Our Lumus Imaging team based in Noosa Hospital are hiring!
We are on the lookout for a Casual Medical Receptionist to support the high volume of patients who visit us every day, and to help us continue to provide the best service and care to each one of them. Our centre supports a wide range of patients, including managing many e-referrals for imaging services such as X Rays and Ultrasounds. Our clerical team is well established and takes pride in contributing to the day to day management of our clinic. We are hoping to find someone who enjoys working with people, has strong attention to detail, and has a sense of humor as we are a team that enjoys a good laugh.
As a Casual team member ideally you will have open availability across Monday to Friday, and be able to work regularly on Mondays and Thursdays. The ideal candidate will be available on short notice to support with sick leave cover as well as planned leave across the team.
Our clinic is open Monday to Sunday, during daytime hours; some weekend shifts may be available depending on business requirements.

You will be responsible for all reception duties including:
- Customer service and care including greeting patients at the front desk, taking, and directing incoming telephone calls
- Make radiology exam bookings
- General Clerical Duties
- Patient record management with exceptional data entry skills
- Liaising with other receptionist, referring doctors and other medical professionals in a courteous manner
- Medicare, DVA, Health fund and work cover billing and banking
