To ensure the ongoing high quality of patient service, they are now adding a permanent part time Medical Receptionist working 2 days per week – Thursday & Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm.
The Role
Reporting to the Practice Manager, the Medical Receptionist provides a mature and empathetic front of house service to doctors, patients and visitors. Flexibility to cover leave for other staff is a must which may include the opportunity to step into a 2IC capacity when the Practice Manager is away. The Medical Receptionist role is multifaceted and offers interesting administration variety, patient liaison and efficient appointment coordination and billing, as well as some procedure preparation and in room support for patients. You will need to have a background in specialist medical administration and Genie software experience but to ensure your success for their environment a thorough onboarding, induction and training program will be offered.
About You
With previous experience as a Medical Receptionist, you will understand specialist rooms and referral based practice. Outstanding communication skills and the ability to connect with patients will come naturally to you. A team focused approach, and the ability to juggle many daily tasks in a busy healthcare environment, coupled with the maturity to work autonomously round out your personal attributes. It's important you are tech confident with experience using Genie software.
Salary & Benefits
Up to $32.00 p/h + 11.5% superannuation and onsite parking is offered for the successful candidate with the opportunity to increase on successful completion of probationary period.
