Perth Respiratory and Sleep Clinic is a private medical practice, specializing in sleep and respiratory medicine at The Mount Medical Centre next to The Mount Private Hospital. We provide comprehensive care for patients diagnosed with sleep and respiratory disorders.
About the Role
We are a small, and driven patient-focused team looking for a new and like-minded Medical Administrator at The Perth Respiratory and Sleep Clinic.
Patients are at the heart of everything we do, as such we are looking for a self-starter who is hardworking and can understand the complexities that comes with working in a medical specialty. With excellent communication skills and wonderful customer service. The team is crucial to accurately collecting and organizing complex information in the fields of sleep and respiratory medicine, so good organizational skills and time management are a must!
Relevant experience includes: working productively in a team environment in any service industry (work in a medical practice is desired but not required) knowledge of IT systems and processes. Good communication skills are crucial to success. Good understanding of patient confidentiality and the objectives and goals of the specialist medical practice is essential.
Essential Requirements
- Commitment to quality of service
- Experience in fast-paced working environments is preferred
- Proven time management and organizational skills, ability to coordinate multiple tasks at once and demonstrated problem solving ability
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail, and accuracy in data entry
- Good IT literacy and familiarity with common windows software
Role Responsibilities
- Phone and front desk management of daily tasks
- Management of patient records using practice management software
- Creating and billing patient appointments
- Basic care and maintenance of important equipment
- General team duties in support of the clinic
Salary commensurate with experience, skills. The successful candidate may start with a 3-month contract, with a view to permanency.
