Form of workHunter ENT is a specialist medical practice based in Broadmeadow, NSW. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Medical Secretary to join our busy team of professionals.
Duties include:
- Surgical Billing
- Answering and dealing with all incoming phone calls from patients in a highly professional manner.
- Banking – Balancing day’s takings and prepare banking deposits.
- Respond to requests for patient appointments with Specialists at the practice.
- Private health fund / Medicare knowledge
- Maintain medical files and office records
- Maintain aged debtors
- Typing, dictation and word processing with a high level of accuracy
- Communicate effectively with doctors and practice staff
- Liaise with external suppliers such as Private Hospital theatre bookings, pathology, radiology, GP’s, other specialist and health service providers as required
- Experience with Genie is highly regarded
