AddressFounded in 1926, The Grange Golf Club is one of Australia’s premier golf clubs with two internationally rated 18-hole championship golf courses, both ranked in the top 50 golf courses in Australia and an award-winning hospitality venue. The Club is seeking a Membership & Marketing Manager.
In April, the Club hosted another hugely successful LIV Golf Adelaide event for the second year. The record-breaking 2023 event was named the World’s Best Golf Event of the Year, while this year’s event attracted 94,000 spectators.
The Club is enjoying a thriving membership with over 2,200 members playing 110,000 rounds annually and a growing wait list. As the Club approaches its Centenary Year and celebrations, this newly created role is instrumental in member engagement and communication.

Key Responsibilities of the role –
- Build, establish and maintain rapport with members and prospective members
- Manage membership category movements in accordance with Club policies
- Welcome and manage the onboarding and orientation process for all new members accepted to join the Club
- Manage new member welcome events and recognition events for members celebrating length of tenure milestones
- Manage the membership management system ensuring accuracy and privacy of member information
- Receive and respond to member feedback and queries in a timely and professional manner
- Develop and deliver internal and external communications to various stakeholders
- Manage and assess performance of all Club content including website, eDMs and social media
- Develop and implement an annual marketing plan
- Prepare and develop key Cub documents, including the Annual Report
What you will bring to the role –
- Professionalism and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with members, employees and stakeholders
- A passion for providing high quality member service and a commitment to exceeding expectations
- Drive and enthusiasm to make a positive difference to members’ experience
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely verbally and all written communications
- Proficiency in managing websites, social media and eDMs
- Previous experience in a member-based organisation, and ideally golf
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business or related field
