Kincoppal-Rose Bay School of the Sacred Heart, founded in 1882, is a leading Catholic Independent Day and Boarding School located in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. The School is co-educational ELC-6, and girls only 7-12.
We are now inviting applications for a Permanent Part-time Music Administrative Assistantcommencing at the beginning of term 1 2024. Be part of the diverse and friendly team of teachers and support staff at our iconic harbourside campus, where you will be engaged to undertake a range of administrative tasks for our prestigious Music department (ELC - year 12 setting)
The role:
- Part-time position. Hours and days are flexible (to equate to 6 hours per day, with the majority of the hours completed during school time). Possible overtime opportunities in peak times.
- Work only during school term time (38 weeks a year). Possibility of working about 5-10 days during the school holidays
- Administrative support to the Head of Music and Music staff
- Coordinate the Band Program and individual music lessons
- Provide logistical support and work in collaboration with other teams to plan and coordinate large events
- Assist the Head of Music with the management of budget and procurement processes
- Undertake other duties as required
The ideal candidate:
- Demonstrated experience in an administrative role. Background in music is desirable but not essential
- Demonstrated experience working with databases
- Demonstrated working knowledge of MS Office suite
- Committed to the objectives, vision, and ethos of Sacred Heart Education
- Highly organized, and can prioritize with limited direction
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Confident in making suggestions for process improvement
