The National Registrar Family Law PracticeLegal and Policy Officer is a key role assisting the Executive Director – National Registrar Operations and Practice of the FCFCOA to support the exercise of their day-to-day responsibilities.
The National Registrar Family Law PracticeLegal and Policy Officer provides high level support and assistance to the Executive Director – National Registrar Operations and Practice to develop, improve and implement the Courts’ Registrar practice and dispute resolution opportunities. This includes carrying out legal policy work and supporting the strategic development of the Courts’ Registrar work and dispute resolution initiatives including projects and liaising with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
The role is multi-dimensional, requiring agility and high level organisational and interpersonal skills. The person appointed to this position will be someone who has an excellent understanding of court processes and protocols; vision and capacity to anticipates tasks in a fast paced environment; shows great initiative; is highly motivated and organised;able to work under pressure and possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The role operates on a national basis and some travel may be required.
