National Sales Manager (Accounts)

We currently seek a National Sales Manager who will be responsible for managing the sales results delivered by the Account management team. You will also be responsible for managing select National Pharmacy banner groups based across Queensland and Victoria. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our client’s sales strategies and working with the team to ensure the strategy is set for their respective customer groups. This role will work alongside the Executive sales team to drive the overall teams’ success.
This role will be full time based in our office in Tingalpa QLD. Working from home options are available under certain circumstances.
The ideal candidate will have;
- Experience in leading a sales team
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships
- Be driven and goal oriented
- Be able to utilise data and client information to develop strategic customer business plans
- Sales experience with proven history to deliver on set budgets to drive sales growth
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to think laterally to achieve business outcomes
- Intermediate Microsoft skills. Must have experience in Excel, powerpoint and Word. Experience with a sales CRM system and/or Canva is highly regarded
- Previous pharmacy industry knowledge will be highly regarded but not essential
Key Responsibilities include:
- Nurture and motivate the KAM team (2 direct reports)
- Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback to enhance individual and team performance.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve client and business goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key banner groups
- Collaborate with the wider team to identify any issues and/or concerns relating to client strategies.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the sales process for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
This role will at times involve travel as some of our team are located in Victoria. Full drivers license is also required as you will be expected to drive to customer meetings.
