The Position:
The primary purpose of the National Sales Manager position, firstly through experience and knowledge of the high value Australian agricultural industry, seek to identify profitable product opportunities and build on the existing revenue of the company.
In this role you will have the ability to generate strategic business plans, have a high level of financial management acumen with solid experience in P&L reporting, forecasting and budgeting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Management; territory sales planning, distribution entity relationship and achievement of sales budgets
- Sales Forecasting: working with a national product portfolio, includes warehouse stock
- Business development: Go to market strategy, establish and maintain new and existing market opportunities
- Market Strategy: Advertising and promotions, price book management and distribution strategy and relationship
- Technical support: product portfolio, and provide assistance to customer sales teams
Working in conjunction with the General Manger, CropSure, in this role you will be involved in setting sales and financial budgets, develop business plans drive the agreed budgeted growth through eh Agricultural Reseller/Distribution network, and maintain and develop key overseas and local supplier relationships.
In this role you will represent the company externally to growers of all size and scale and this will be including attending industry functions both Nationally and Internationally.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Relevant tertiary education and/or industry-recognised qualifications in Agriculture
- Solid knowledge of the Australian Agriculture industry
- Solid experience in financial reporting
- Experience in development of Strategic Business Plans
- Competent with Office 365 suite including Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams
- Confidential to create and deliver PowerPoint presentations
- Experience with ERP Pronto would be an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Efficiency and organisational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Have a current drivers licence (essential)
